The ICMIF Biennial Conference is the premier global gathering of mutual and cooperative insurance leaders from across the world. A conference with a difference, the event is designed to stimulate original ideas for better business performance and strategic advantage: helping leaders create real, lasting value for their organisations, their member-policyholders, and the communities they serve.
Through the inspirational presentations, provocative panel discussions, and unrivalled peer-to-peer networking opportunities at the Conference, delegates will gain clear insights into the trends that are shaping the future of our industry. They will learn about practical solutions to common challenges from fellow mutual/cooperative insurers; and develop trusted relationships and connections with other leaders from across ICMIF’s diverse, global network.
The ICMIF Biennial Conference 2024 will take place from 12-15 November 2024 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and will be hosted by ICMIF members the Argentinean Association of Cooperative and Mutual Insurers (AACMS) and the Association of Insurers of the Interior of the Argentine Republic (ADIRA).
The agenda will address the priority strategic issues facing ICMIF member organisations to inspire and assist their leaders to adapt and transform their businesses for a resilient, purpose-led future.
The Buenos Aires Conference will also include the fourth ICMIF Young Leaders Programme, designed to help develop the next generation of mutual/cooperative insurance leaders.

Attendees of ICMIF Biennial Conferences 2019-2022The ICMIF Biennial Conference 2024 will be jointly hosted by ADIRA and AACMS, in the newly renovated Puerto Madero dockside area in the heart of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of other areas of Buenos Aires, just a few blocks away. Across the river, there are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in the city of Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out with Puerto Madero being even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
Fees
The Conference fee includes attendance at all Conference sessions and workshops, access to all digital conference information, Conferences lunches on three days and two Conference dinners (Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner). The fee for accompanying persons includes those same two Conference dinners.

*This rate is available to member organisations from developing countries where the member organisation has gross premium income of less than USD 20 million and is limited to two delegates per company.
Hotel
The prestigious Hilton hotel has been selected to host the Conference as it is ideally located in the popular area of Puerto Madero, which has a wider variety of very close to restaurants, bars, transportation options and cultural activities.
A private reservation link will be shared with members early next year for delegates to book their bedrooms. In the meantime, the bedroom prices are shown below.
Please note that breakfast is included in the price quoted and VAT is not charged to non-Argentinian residents.
